ABOUT

Dakota found her passion for art and creativity at Xavier Charter School from 5th grade to her Senior year. Once she graduated she began her academic journey at the College of Southern Idaho, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Arts. This program provided her with a comprehensive foundation in traditional artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, and sculpture, and ceramics, while also introducing her to art history and design principles. These experiences honed her creative expression and technical skills, preparing her for further artistic endeavors.

Building upon her artistic background, Dakota returned to CSI to pursue a second degree in Digital Media. This program emphasizes the creation, use, and management of high-quality digital content. Through hands-on coursework, she developed proficiency in industry-standard software and collaborative design processes. This transition reflects her passion for integrating traditional artistry with modern technology, enabling her to expand her skill set into areas like logo design, website development, and digital advertising. Her academic journey underscores a commitment to evolving as both an artist and a communicator in today’s digital landscape.
